Prepare for Performance Task

1. Journal
Our author says evil is a spectrum from super evil to not so evil. Do you agree or disagree and why?

2. Performance Task Check-In (3rd Period Only)
  • I'm going to give you a document to help you organize this quarter's performance tasks.
  • We've had two so far, and you have a third one coming up this week.
  • Your compare/contrast paragraphs are scored in Google Classroom and there is a rubric pasted into your document for you to view. I left EVERYONE comments.
  • Remember, you can request regrades for assignments you're not pleased about (after making the appropriate revisions).
3. Reading
  • We are going to keep reading "The Psychology of Evil" by Philip Zimbardo
  • We all have to stay vigilant and focused - this is a VERY informative text and this is hopefully the last day we will spend reading it.
4. Navigating the Waters Questions
  • There are questions uploaded in Google Classroom called "Navigating the Waters: The Psychology of Evil"
  • You are going to use the RACE Format to respond to the questions.
  • We will review this as a class, but you will be responsible for finishing the work.
5. Prepare for Performance Task
  • Tomorrow we will begin the performance task for this text.
  • The task will be to create a timeline of all the events, people, and ideas in this text.
  • This will help you see the evolution of Zimbardo's thinking.
