Writing Groups (Virtual or In-Person)
Option 1: In-Person Writing Groups
- Refresh: What are writing groups?
- What kinds of discussion help writers most?
- Follow the procedures to the right with your group.
Option 2: Virtual Writing Groups
- Go to Google Classroom
- Click on the link in the newest announcement (where it says I've invited you to a Peergrade class)
- Copy and past just the text of your essay into the "Text" field on Peergrade (don't copy your name at the top or the charts at the bottom - just your written work!)
- Give feedback on three of your classmates' essays
How does your essay compare to the rubric?
What do you still need to work on?
- Final Draft of your Academic Honesty Essay is due this Friday.
- Book review is due by TOMORROW (4/16) at the end of the class period. I'll give you some time in class, but if you want to do it at home, please do it tonight.
